hardwood stairs install renovation Mo completed an extensive stair facelift for us, totally transforming out main central staircase.
When we moved into our new (but 20 year old) home, I really hated the staircase, which was covered with a dingy gray carpet, and had a short oak staircase with skinny, below grade spindles and rails.
Mo removed the railing, carpet and stairs and replaced them with new hardwood steps and white risers. He also repainted the rails and stairs to match the floors, fixed squeaks in the steps and put in new balustrades and posts. It was a huge job taking over 3 weeks, also complicated by the fact that the entire staircase is circular which involved each step being cut and precisely measured. But Mo was a professional and took care of all our changes and requests.
We are really happy with the finished product (will post some pics soon) and would highly recommend Mo to anyone who wants to give their old carpeted steps a new, modern look.
